On Friday, we drove up to visit my Uncle George and Aunt Lynell in Massachusetts. We brought Granny with us and had a fun time going to Lowell National Historical Park. Here is the description of the park from the website: The early story of America's Industrial Revolution is commemorated at Lowell National Historical Park in the midst of this lively city. The Park offers visitors an in-depth look into the past that brought the 19th century textile industry to tap the water power of the Merrimack River while also revealing cultural connections to the present and visions for the future. http://www.nps.gov/LOWE
It was really neat to see the old mills and ride on a trolley! Jack was a little unsure of the trolley ride but we think it was because he didn't get his full 12 hours of sleep Friday night. Jack was really excited to see Uncle George and Aunt Lynell. When we got to their house, Uncle George wasn't home yet but right when he walked in Jack said "Hi George!" He loves playing with his Uncle George especially when he gets taken outside. Whenever Uncle George would disappear from Jack's view, Jack would ask, "George, Where are you?" We can't wait to make another trip up to Massachusetts!
