Kent Falls

Today, we decided to take a drive through Connecticut and go see Kent Falls in Kent, CT. It was nice drive there with Jack, Audrey and Cindy asleep in the back! The falls were really pretty and there was a little path that you could hike up and see the falls from above. We didn't go all the way up which I think led to more falls but it was too hot and the two of us carrying three kids was hard! Next time we go, we should bring our swimsuits because you can go in the water at the bottom of the falls. After visiting the falls, we took a drive to Cornwall, CT and saw a covered bridge! It was really cool and still in use. It's only one lane so you have to be careful when you're driving through it because cars could be coming through from the other side! On our way home, we stopped at a little park so Jack and Audrey could run around and then stopped for some french fries and ice cream at McDonald's! It was a fun day but Jack and Audrey were very happy to be home.
